Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
PatchLead Inc. (“PatchLead,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a pay-per-call lead-generation service that connects homeowners who need home-services work with licensed, vetted contractors (“Buyers”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
By using any PatchLead website, submitting a service request, or registering as a Buyer you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide directly. When you submit a service request through one of our lead-generation sites, you give us your name, phone number, postal code or address, the type of service you need, and how urgently you need it. If you verify your phone number via one-time passcode (OTP), we also collect that verification status. Buyers provide business name, license details, service areas, phone numbers, and payment information when they register.
Information collected automatically. Our servers log your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. We use cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6) to recognize returning visitors and measure site performance.
Call data. When we connect a homeowner with a Buyer, we collect call metadata such as call start and end times, duration, caller ID, and the disposition of the call (answered, voicemail, busy). Calls may be recorded as described in Section 4.
Payment data. Buyer payment details (credit card or bank account) are collected and stored by our third-party payment processor. PatchLead does not store full card numbers on its own servers.
3. How we use it
We use the information we collect to:
- Match homeowners with qualified, available Buyers in their area.
- Initiate and manage phone connections between homeowners and Buyers.
- Verify phone numbers and prevent fraud.
- Bill Buyers for qualified call transfers and process disputes.
- Improve our matching algorithms, call routing, and service quality.
- Send transactional messages (call confirmations, receipts, account alerts).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use homeowner phone numbers for marketing calls or texts unrelated to the service request you submitted.
4. Call recording & consent
PatchLead may record calls between homeowners and Buyers for quality assurance, dispute resolution, and training purposes. Both parties are notified at the start of the call that recording may occur. By staying on the line after the notification, you consent to the recording.
Call recordings are stored securely, access is restricted to authorized PatchLead personnel, and recordings are retained for a maximum of 90 days unless a longer retention period is required for an active dispute or legal proceeding.
Buyers may not independently record calls without providing their own legally compliant notice to the homeowner.
5. When we share information
We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
- With Buyers. When we connect a homeowner to a Buyer, the Buyer receives the homeowner’s name, phone number, service type, and general location so they can provide a quote and schedule the work.
- Service providers. We use third-party providers for telephony (Plivo), payment processing, hosting (AWS), email delivery, geocoding, and analytics. These providers receive only the data necessary to perform their function and are contractually obligated to protect it.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or the rights, safety, or property of others.
- Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.
- With your consent. We may share information for purposes not described here if we have obtained your explicit consent.
6. Cookies & tracking
We use first-party cookies and local storage to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how visitors interact with our sites. We may also use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) that set their own cookies.
You can disable cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may affect site functionality. We honor Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals where technically feasible.
We do not use advertising cookies or participate in cross-site behavioral advertising networks.

Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PatchLead Inc. (“PatchLead,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the PatchLead website, APIs, buyer portal, and all related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The service
PatchLead is a pay-per-call lead-generation platform for the home-services industry. We operate consumer-facing websites that collect service requests from homeowners. Qualified requests are routed as live phone calls to participating contractors (“Buyers”). Buyers pay a flat fee for each qualifying call transfer they receive.
PatchLead is not a contractor, does not perform home-services work, and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any work performed by a Buyer. The relationship between a homeowner and a Buyer is solely between those parties.
3. Buyer eligibility
To register as a Buyer you must: (a) be a legally formed business entity or sole proprietorship; (b) hold all licenses, permits, and insurance required by applicable law to perform the services you offer; (c) maintain those credentials for the duration of your participation; and (d) provide accurate, up-to-date business and payment information.
We reserve the right to verify your credentials, reject an application, or suspend or terminate a Buyer account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to failure to maintain valid licensing or insurance, excessive disputes, or conduct that harms homeowners or the PatchLead brand.
4. Billing & disputes
Buyers are charged a flat per-transfer fee for each qualifying call. A call qualifies when it connects a homeowner to a Buyer and the connected duration meets or exceeds the minimum duration threshold set for that market and vertical. Short calls and obvious misfires (wrong numbers, robocalls) are automatically excluded at no charge.
Fees are deducted from the Buyer’s prepaid balance. When the balance falls below a configurable threshold, the payment method on file is automatically charged to replenish it. Buyers can view all charges, call recordings, and balances in the Buyer Portal.
If a Buyer believes a charge was incorrect, they may file a dispute from the call’s detail row in the Buyer Portal within 48 hours of the call. PatchLead will review the call recording and metadata and issue a credit if the dispute is valid. Our dispute decision is final.
PatchLead reserves the right to adjust pricing, minimum duration thresholds, and deposit minimums at any time with reasonable notice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service except as expressly permitted.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute leads or call data obtained through the Service.
- Harass, abuse, or harm homeowners, other Buyers, or PatchLead staff.
- Manipulate call duration, call disposition, or any other metric to avoid legitimate charges.
Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
6. Intellectual property
All content, trademarks, logos, software, and technology comprising the Service are owned by or licensed to PatchLead and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
7. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party providers for telephony, payment processing, mapping, and analytics. Your use of those providers is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. PatchLead is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL PATCHLEAD’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO PATCHLEAD IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $100).
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the Buyer relationship at any time for any reason by providing written notice (email is sufficient). Upon termination, PatchLead will cease routing calls to the Buyer and will refund any remaining prepaid balance minus outstanding charges and pending disputes, within 30 business days.
PatchLead may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or the integrity of the Service.
Sections 6 (Intellectual Property), 8 (Disclaimers), 9 (Limitation of Liability), and 10 (Governing Law) survive termination.
